プログレ界の大御所の何枚か出ているソロアルバムからの１枚。
元々彼が在籍中のKing Crimsonのヴォーカル曲は謳いあげる曲が特徴的だったが、ソロになって特にこのアルバムの曲はその傾向が強い。Asiaの作品では想像できない奥深さが彼のソロ作品にある。まさに演歌的に聞こえる曲も。
